About us
Abbeville Methodist Church is a body of believers committed to Worship Passionately, Love Extravagantly and Witness Boldly. We are the first Global Methodist Church in the Henry County area but will soon be joined in community with other Global Methodist brothers and sisters. Isaiah 43:19 says "See ... I am doing a new thing ... now it springs up. Do you not perceive it?"

Randy Greene
Hi ... I am Pastor Randy Greene. Being here in Abbeville every day, I get to see all of the beauty and challenges that our community presents. Coming here by way of the Emerald Coast of Florida, Montgomery, Alabama, rural Kentucky, and various other places in the Southeast, Lee (my wife) and I and our two adult children (Stephanie [children, Benjamin, Phoenix, Elise] and Christopher) have experienced life from several different perspectives. We look forward to investing in the life of Abbeville and in the telling the Good News of Jesus to those with ears to hear, eyes to see and hearts to love.

Desired to remain explicitly Methodist and Wesleyan

Desired to remain connectional in both polity and practice

Desired to remain orthodox in expression of our Christian faith

Continue to believe that worshipping with passion, loving in extravagance and witnessing boldly are our mission and desire as a Church.
The year 2023 will involve onboarding into this heart-felt mission, and we invite you to join with us to lead our community, our nation and the world to a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
